Rev. Tom Baynham
Pastor Tom served as Friedens associate pastor beginning in May 2018, specifically in the areas of worship, music, and church vitality. He is a native of Richmond, Virginia having served congregations in that state as well as in Kentucky, Indiana, New Hampshire, and Missouri. Tom holds graduate degrees from the Boston University School of Theology, Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Tom is the father of two adult children; son Daniel, a social sports coordinator, and daughter Lindsey, an ordained United Methodist Elder in Virginia. He enjoys, reading, conducting, the Dallas Cowboys...and the Chicago Cubs. He became senior pastor on January 12, 2020.

Sharon Brune
Sharon joined the Friedens UCC staff as our Office Administrator in 2006. Sharon came from working many years in the medical field as a Medical Assistant before coming to the church. Sharon enjoys using her time and talent in helping with various groups and committees within the church. Sharon grew up as a life-long member of Friedens UCC. Sharon and her husband Galen are residents of St. Charles along with their son Dylan. She enjoys spending time with her sons and daughter-in-laws and her grandchildren. They also enjoy going on family vacations with their children.
Music Director
David Gill
Curtis Moeller
David Gill is a life-long musician who comes from a musical family. Singing in church from an early age, David has been involved in worship leading directly since high school when he joined the youth worship team. He has led worship for internationally-attended conferences and has a Masters of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary (2015). His church experiences range from low-church Pentecostal to high-church Anglican. David periodically writes orchestrations played by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra when accompanying the In Unison Chorus under the direction of Kevin McBeth.
